Contents
Loratadine 5 mg, pseudoephedrine sulfate 120 mg
Indications/Uses
Relief of symptoms associated w/ allergic rhinitis & common cold including nasal congestion, sneezing, rhinorrhea, pruritus & lacrimation.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn ≥12 yr 1 cap twice daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Patients on or w/ in 14 days after MAOI therapy discontinuation; narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, severe HTN, severe CAD, hyperthyroidism.
Special Precautions
Glaucoma, peptic ulcer stenosis, pyloroduodenal obstruction, CV disease, prostatic hypertrophy, HTN, increased IOP or DM. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Insomnia, dry mouth.
Drug Interactions
β-blockers, methyldopa, mecamylamine, reserpine, veratrum alkaloids, digitalis, ketoconazole, erythromycin, cimetidine.
